We raise the Shibas because we have a keen appreciation for the intelligence, hunting capabilities and wild beauty of the breed. The history of Shiba Inus is also pretty cool- they go waaaay back and are highly regarded in their founding country of Japan. (Fun fact- Aside from usual hunting, Shibas were also kept to chase away monkeys from people's houses). My husband and I breed our Shiba Inu dogs to have good bone mass, rounded faces, short & properly angled muzzles, rounded tip ears and overall soundness. We've got very specific picture in mind to aim for with every litter. Each generation should be better than the last generation!
He is SO COOL!
