Muffin was A.I. bred to Tazer. Her hormones were a little off this cycle, due to a feed change & huge temperature shifts, so we are not sure she conceived, but ofcourse that will be revealed in time. If so, she will be due in early June.
Tazer is one of our huge, impressive AKC champion bloodline Great Pyrenees sires.
AKC reg. black Newfoundland dam
Two incredible dogs here will produce some incredible puppies. We will be keeping one from their litter.
Great Pyrenees superior foundation sire from nationally acclaimed bloodline that was started in the 1960's.
Our huge, massive brown Newfoundland dam
This litter will be 50/50 Great Pyrenees Newfoundland just like our other 2 litters listed above. Both Lightening & Licorice are already 50/50 Great Pyrenees Newfoundlands. These are sure to be huge and impressive puppies from these two.
Lightening started our love of the Great Pyrenees Newfoundland dog- he is our largest and quite impressive stud. He is a Great Pyrenees Newfoundland 140 lbs.
Black Great Pyrenees Newfoundland dam. She is a daughter of Thunder & Muffin.

KEEP IN MIND THAT NEWFOUNDLAND DOGS WERE ORIGINALLY DERIVED FROM GREAT PYRENEES, AND THE 2 BREEDS SHARE MANY SIMILARITIES IN SIZE, COAT TYPE AND STRUCTURE,. WE FIND AND STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THEIR DIFFERENCES, WHEN COMBINED, ACTUALLY ENHANCE THE RESULTING DOGS. BASICALLY, THE SUM OF THESE 2 BREEDS TOGETHER IS....A SUPERIOR LARGE DOG WITH INCREDIBLY WELL ROUNDED TRAITS.

All those who have experience with the Purebred Great Pyrenees know they are prone to have a BIG vision of what their territory is, so they roam. Probably the biggest problem small farmers / homesteaders have to deal with in regards to having a purebred Great Pyrenees is their roaming tendency, even with fencing they sometimes seek to escape the fence. Adding the Newfoundland genetics diminishes their desire to take off, yet they still have the Great Pyrenees traits to be working farm dogs / livestock guardian dogs.
